From the Author Over the years I have searched for books on commercial real estate investing. I have discovered there are very few up-to-date books with much substantial content focused on the investor. This is a big business with lots of players but still very little information on this business seems to get published. The intent of this book is to fill a gap in Commercial Real Estate books and to give you the basics of investing from an insider's point of view. It will include both technical AND practical information on commercial real estate investing. This business is not exceptionally difficult to understand, but it does take a lot of work to succeed. This book takes an honest and straightforward approach. My intention is to give honest viewpoints and opinions that should provide a baseline to start from. I am writing it in the hopes that it will be informative and dispel some common myths. This can save a lot of mistakes and wasted time at the beginning of any commercial real estate investment endeavor and help in the long-term with making money.
