About the Author After graduating with distinction from Gettysburg College and the American University Washington College of Law, Robert Pucci passed the bar exams for both New York and New Jersey, then promptly moved to Los Angeles to become an actor. (On quiet nights you can still hear his mother screaming.) While playing a recurring role on "The Young & The Restless," he realized that at heart, he is a writer. Robert has sold over twenty-five screenplays to such studios as Paramount, Sony, Warner Brothers, Fox, Universal and Miramax, and has worked with, among others, Oliver Stone, Jan Debont, James Foley, Mark Wahlberg, Roland Joffee and Diane Keaton. People Magazine said that his script for the television movie "The Spider & The Fly," "...contains more twists and turns than an old, knotted phone cord." The New York Times wrote regarding his script for the feature film "The Corruptor," "Robert Pucci has managed to turn a meat-and-potatoes action flick into a cunning meditation on personal loyalty and situational morality." With "In Harlem's Way," his first novel, Robert continues telling stories and creating characters that examine the complexities of the human heart.
