Pyrates: Dread Eye's Phantom

★★★★★4.7·7 ratings

Amazon.com We’re not entirely certain if the most remarkable feature on the Dread Eye Phantom pirate ship is by design or by accident but if nothing else it certainly serves the reputation of pirates being fierce and fearsome. It seems the ship eats people. Perhaps that’s understandable for a ship that, with enormous ribs along the sides, appears to have been carved right out of a whale and a ship that is manned by men who are not really men at all but rather skeletons, with names like Nautilasher, Shovel Tooth, and Barnaclops. Adding to the delightfully creepy atmosphere are a battered sail made of real cloth and a creepy "membrane" on the ship’s lower deck (that’s where the people eating takes place). A cannon ball projectile can be fired and an octopus is also included, although where he fits into the narrative we’re not entirely certain. It’s a 100-piece set and unlike traditional Mega Bloks sets, there isn’t a whole lot of construction going on here. But because it is from the Mega Bloks line, it’s adaptable to and compatible with other Mega Bloks sets. --Charlie Williams

Doc fetch goes through Layer's Aerospike pull-through cache; cache hit served the row without touching turbopuffer. The similar query asks Layer for nearest neighbors of the stored product vector — queries don't go through the doc cache, so no cache header is set.
