Spider-Man #16

Superstar artist Todd McFarlane's spectacular run on Spider-Man comes to an end with a cataclysmic showdown that pits Spidey and the mutant heroes of X-Force against the nigh unstoppable Juggernaut! Story concludes in X-Force (1991-2002 1st Series) #4. NOTE: This unique issue is told in widescreen format (horizontal) to maximize the action. After this issue Todd McFarlane left Marvel and went on to form Image Comics with other superstar artists (Jim Lee, Marc Silvestri, and Erik Larsen to name a few). There he created Spawn, one the most successful creator owned characters in the history of the medium. Spawn has gone on to inspire spin-offs, cartoons, a movie, and one of the most successful toy lines of all time.
