Merrythought Edward, Christopher Robin's Teddy Bear

★★★★3.9·3 ratings

Meet Edward by Merrythought. He is featured in the 2017 film: GOODBYE CHRISTOPHER ROBIN. He is the ultimate bear for devoted Winnie-the-Pooh fans. Edward is a beautiful 18 inch replica of the Teddy bear who famously inspired AA Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh stories. Originally created by Farnell in 1921, Daphne Milne purchased Edward Teddy from Harrods as a birthday gift for her son, Christopher Robin. Christopher formed a unique bond with his beloved Teddy and the two became the best of friends. Following a trip to the London Zoo, the young boy later renamed his bear after a beloved resident of the zoo, a black bear named Winnipeg, nicknamed 'Winnie' for short. Christopher's father, AA Milne, was enamored by the wonderful friendship he witnessed between a boy and his Teddy bear and was inspired to pen stories about their journey through life together. Thus began the tales of Winnie-the-Pooh. Handcrafted in England using the same traditional skills and materials as Christopher Robin's original Edward bear, this handsome chap features a rich, antique-golden mohair coat and pure woolen felt paws of sandy-beige. His deep amber eyes show a longing to be loved, which together with a hand-embroidered nose and his endearing smile, produce a quintessential charm that can only be found in a Teddy bear of such timeless design. True to the original, Edward also 'growls' when tipped. He is 18 inches and five-way jointed... perfect for hugging and holding. Created by Merrythought as a Special Edition, each Edward bear is individually numbered and presented in a unique 'Farnell by Merrythought' cloth gift bag. Edward is the perfect companion. Begin your own adventures with Edward today. Suitable for ages 3 and up. Please remove all accessories and tags before giving to a child under the age of 3.

Doc fetch goes through Layer's Aerospike pull-through cache; cache hit served the row without touching turbopuffer. The similar query asks Layer for nearest neighbors of the stored product vector — queries don't go through the doc cache, so no cache header is set.
