Grand Theft Auto: The NYPD’s Auto Crime Division (Tell All NYPD Books)

Review 1- A funny & realistic account of the work of a street cop in the NYPD. Some of his stories will leave you laughing hysterically; others will have you enthralled as he relates his accounts of the crimes & criminals that he encountered during his career. This is the third book of his that I have read about his life in the NYPD & am looking forward to more. If you do not know anyone who works in law enforcement & believe that police work is like what is portrayed on TV or in the movies, Vic's books will disabuse you of that misconception & give you a greater appreciation for those who perform that difficult work. 2- Having been a street cop for 25 years it still amazes me how complicated it is to be a NYPD officer. The author moved this book right along. He makes you want to find out what happens next. Plus he explains the politics of being a NYPD officer without grinding it into the ground. Lastly he takes the time to give good advise to the reader on how not to be a victim. Thoroughly enjoyed this book

Doc fetch goes through Layer's Aerospike pull-through cache; cache hit served the row without touching turbopuffer. The similar query asks Layer for nearest neighbors of the stored product vector — queries don't go through the doc cache, so no cache header is set.
