About the Author Ginny Friedlander Fite, an award-winning journalist and writer, is the author of five previous novels, a humorous book on aging, three collections of poetry and a collection of short stories.A graduate of Rutgers University and Johns Hopkins University, her 40-year career in communications included posts as editor of the Frederick Gazette, lifestyle editor for the Herald-Mail, editorial manager for women's health at Discovery.com, public relations director for Goucher College, deputy press secretary for a Maryland Governor, press secretary for a member of Congress, and media director for a robotics R&D company.After studying at the School for Women Healers and the Maryland Poetry Therapy Institute, she developed the trademarked creative writing course, Writercizing, which she taught as an adjunct instructor at Frederick Community College in Maryland.Nominated for a Pushcart Prize, her stories have appeared in numerous literary journals, and her novel told in short stories was shortlisted for the SFWP prize.
