Memories of My Childhood in 1940's Wenlock (Eighty years of Living!)
The 1940's were a unique period in British History. My generation grew up in a world where food, clothing and footwear shortages were normal, where we rarely saw close relatives who lived even 8 or 10 miles away and accepted Air raid Sirens, Air Raids, gas masks, Armed Forces Church parades, cars 'put away' in sheds for the duration and 'make do and mend' as 'normal' for we knew no other. We found pleasure and fun in that tight little world as we accepted what came and found a way to make the best of it.

Doc fetch goes through Layer's Aerospike pull-through cache; cache hit served the row without touching turbopuffer. The similar query asks Layer for nearest neighbors of the stored product vector — queries don't go through the doc cache, so no cache header is set.
